Q. Are towels and bedding provided for all 4 people?
A. Yes, if we are notified of four people staying in the apartment at the time of booking then we will provide bedding and towels for all four people. If we are told that only 2 people will be staying then only towels and bedding for 2 people will be provided.
Q. Is the apartment suitable for disabled access?
A. There are roughly 10 steps between the main entrance gate and the apartment entrance. If you feel that you can manage these steps then yes it is suitable. However, we would not recommend the apartment for wheelchairs.
Q. Is there anywhere to eat near the apartment?
A. Yes there are many restaurants, cafés and pubs nearby. A few steps away from the apartment is the main square of Grassmarket. Here you will find many places to eat and drink. We can highly recommend all of these places for a friendly atmosphere and good value.
Q. Where is the nearest bus stop?
A. Just outside the apartment building is a bus stop that will take you to many places around Edinburgh.
Q. Is there any parking for the apartment?
A. There is no specific parking for the apartment. There is however plenty of street parking available. This is free from 6pm until 7am but will cost between 70p and £1.80 per hour at all other times. There are also numerous car parks that have reasonable overnight rates. During the festival period (Aug) we would highly recommend not bringing a car, as parking is limited in and around Edinburgh. Public transport is an excellent way of getting around the city, as it is reliable, easy, and extremely cheap. The majority of attractions in Edinburgh are however within easy walking distance.
